Provide technical leadership in a specific technical components for country specific and program wide activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical oversight for designing, development, planning, implementation; and capacity-building of components of global, regional, and/or country-level programs for Executive Office.
* Provide desk and on-site technical oversight to country and/or regional programs and institutions, as appropriate.
* Participate in resource development and other writing on assigned area activities.
* Develop strategies and tools for the design and implementation of specific technical components.
* Conduct analysis of program implementation to identify areas of weakness or opportunity vis a vis the appropriate technical strategy and guidelines.
* Develop and monitor work plans.
* Analyze data sets and technical assessment findings.
* Provide leadership and team building at the project level.
Position Requirements:
* BS/BA, MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and minimum of 5-9 years relevant experience with monitoring and evaluation for HIV/AIDS and/or other public health initiatives.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Improvement (QI) processes.
* Experience with USG/USAID programs including reporting requirements.
* Experience in conducting needs assessment and impact evaluation
