The Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) organisation is a driving force behind the creation of greater value in the company. We are responsible for the financial and legal functions, providing professional support and advice, and for representing the group in financial markets. A key task for us is to ensure high levels of ethical and financial compliance with corporate and external requirements. By means of active stakeholder management, CFO will manage the market perception of Statoil in Norwegian and international financial markets.
Global Business Services (GBS) is Statoil’s internal supplier of global business support services including IT, finance, facility management, human resources, communication and business support projects. GBS’ ambition is to be a competitive provider of business services. The sector Financial Supply Chain (FSC) within Finance and Control is responsible for the group’s cash management operations (bank and payment solutions) as well as accounts payable and receivable. The Central Payment Unit within F&C FSC consists of 14 employees and is responsible for payment and cash reconciliation services and the operational contact with Statoil’s cash management banks. The team provides services for Statoil globally, and the vacant position will give the candidate opportunity to work together with colleagues from different units in the Statoil group. The candidate will work with Statoil’s main cash management banks and be involved in project work/initiatives related to cash management solutions.

Job description

  • Processing of payments and follow up towards the banks
  • Cash reconciliation
  • Operational contact with Statoil’s 4 main cash management banks worldwide
  • Statoil internal customer support related to payments

Qualifications

  • Work experience can compensate for lack of education
  • No more then 1 year of relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)
  • Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies
