The Law School of Tanzania (LST) was established by the Act of Parliament No. 50f 2007 (now Cap. 425) for providing practical legal training for law graduates aspiring to become legal practitioners in the country. The School new invites qualified Tanzanians to fill in the following vacant posts;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
a. To teach students up to NTA level 9 (Master Degree);
b. To guide and supervise students in building up their practical and research projects;
c. To prepare learning resources and design training exercises for students;
1. To conduct consultancy and community services;
e. To undertake individual research and participates in scientific/ academic congregations;
f. To supervise and guides post-graduate students;
g. To prepare teaching manuals, simulations and case studies for training;
h. To coach junior teaching staff; .
1. To coordinate academic programs and major research projects and consultancy;
1. To perform any duties as assigned by Head Practical Legal Training.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
a. Holder of Doctorate (PhD) degree in relevant field who is eligible for registration as technical teacher with a working experience in teaching, research and consultancy of at least three years in lectureship position or equivalent in a related or allied institution and has published at least three peer reviewed papers;

Holder of PhD degree in relevant field who is eligible for registration as technical teacher and has a proven applicable working experience in research and consultancy of at least 10 years in the industry and have published at least five consultancy/research reports of the academic and professional appreciable depth in the relevant field.
c. Holder of Master’s Degree in relevant field who is eligible for registration as technical teacher and -has a proven applicable working experience in research and consultancy of at least 20 years in the industry and have published at least ten consultancy/research reports of the academic and professional appreciable depth in. the relevant field;
Or
d. Holder of Doctoral Degree in relevant field, who has a proven applicable working experience of 10 years and have published at least five consultancy/research reports of the academic and professional appreciable depth in the relevant field.
e. Should be registered as an- Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania;
f. Experience in providing instruction in academic and professional programs
g. Ability to relate to students and other members of staff including problem management skills;
and
h. Proven ability to implement practical training programs;
