Pwani Oil is a modern consumer led business, with its HQ in Mombasa.

Following performance success in 2013, the company is growing and its management team expanding.

The Financial Controller will manage the Financial Operations and the finance team within Pwani Oil, contributing to the Pwani Oil strategy of 2014 and onwards. The business has purpose. Main Duties Include:

• Manage all aspects of manufacturing accounting and inventory control.
• Preparation of periodic management and statutory financial.
• In charge of budgeting, budgetary control and forecasting process
• Coordinating both interim and annual audits with Company auditors
• Actively manage company cash flow on daily basis and generate relevant cash flow projections and forecasting
• Identify,  Analyze and measure foreign currency exposures and recommend mitigation procedures/actions to management
• Manage and/Monitor all aspects company accounts receivable/payable
• Manage timely computation, payment and submission of all statutory deductions while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
• Perform timely pre and post implementation review of various projects and offer relevant financial advice/support to commercial teams on various business proposal evaluations

Desired Skills and Experience

• www.pwani.net
• Experience in an ERP especially Oracle or SAP will be preferred
• Fully qualified accountant – CPA(K)/ACCA
• Sound hands on experience in a manufacturing concern with at least five (5) years in supervisory role covering the key accountabilities above. 
• Team Player that delegates and acts as a mentor to the team.
• Highly energetic, eager to learn and with special attention to detail.
