We are a startup company in the United Republic of Tanzania with core business in providing mobile SMS services. We’re in the process of rolling out our business in the country and are seeking to recruit dynamic and innovative individuals who will grow with us in the position of Trainee Customer Service Representative/Administrative Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities
· Patiently listening and responding professionally to customer queries, problems and concerns on the telephone
· Making recommendations of alternate solutions if customer expectations cannot be met in accordance with the relevant escalation procedures
· Maintain confidentiality of all customer related information
· Following through on commitments and escalations
· Maintaining customer experience levels within the quality standards stipulated by the company
· Recording and following up on general queries and complaints by customers
· Anticipating potential needs or problems of customers and resolving the same
· Educating the customers on new and existing products and services offered by the company
· Maintaining a balance between business and customer needs while maintaining confidentiality of information
· Giving feedback to management on customer satisfaction for further action
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
· Minimum formal training in Business Administration, Public Relations, Secretarial studies, Marketing, Business IT and related courses
· 0-3 years of experience in a customer service, reception or office administration, primarily focused on customer care and office administration.
· Must have superior communication skills with fluency in English and Kiswahili (both written and spoken). Should be comfortable in writing reports & emails in English.
· Strong analytic skills and comfort in using Microsoft office especially Ms Word, Ms Excel,powerpoint and outlook for emails
· Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
· Excellent organization and time management skills
· Ability to maintain productivity under pressure and to multitask effectively
· Should be able to accurately translate content written in English to Kiswahili
· Experience in mobile industry (WASP or telecom operator) or media will be an added advantage but is not a requirement
· Excellent knowledge of internet research (using Google and other search engines) is an asset
· Ability to learn new concepts fast
Other requirements
· Must be Tanzanian national currently living in Dar es Salaam
· Should be 30 years of age and below at the time of application
· Those who have just graduated from college or have finished studies and are awaiting graduation can also be considered
· Related experience (even in field) will count
