Position Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

To maintain all medical equipments and buildings for the Hospital

Required Qualifications

Health Records Assistant

Position Description:

Reports to:Head of Medical Records Department

Duties and Responsibilities

To perform routine registration of new and return outpatients and inpatients

To file patients records and case-notes

To maintain an appropriate record keeping system based on existing filing system.

To maintain systems for appointments and registration of patients

To design forms for the hospital's record keeping.

To collect patients' statistics from wards, sections and departments of the hospital

To prepare and issue new files and outpatient cards. To collect and sort Laboratory results into patients files.

To carry out squeezing of files into shelves on a quarter1y and year1y basis

To review, sort and file all discharge and follow-up case notes into the shelves.

To locate misfiled case-notes files.

Required Qualifications

Position Description:

To assist in stock verification; Reconciliation of stock balances;

Liaise with Internal Audit on matters pertaining to stocks;

Assist in periodical stock taking/stock check; Maintains stock verification records.

To assist in warehousing;

To monitor items requiring stock replenishment; In charge of all receipts;

Personal Assistant to the Executive Director (Administrative Officer II)

Position Description:

Reports to:Executive Director

Main Purpose of the Job (Job Summary)

To assist the Executive Director (ED) and manage the day to day activities and correspondences of the Executive Director's Office in order to give her optimum time to focus on strategic activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Managing the Executive Director's diary

Schedule and coordinate the Executive Director's appointments and meetings.

Provide events for the shared calendar as directed by the

Executive Director

Conduct weekly dairy meetings with the Executive Director to discuss upcoming engagement, invitation and other requests

Coordinating Secretarial Duties

Scrutinize, organize and highlight emails sent to the Executive Director, distribute these to relevant staff and print relevant attachments;

Scrutinize and organize letters sent to the Executive Director and sort accordingly and distribute to appropriate staff; Handle Executive Director's travel logistics;

Coordinate and submit monthly management reports or any other report as requested by the Executive Director; Prepare meetings in which the Executive Director is a chair; Heading Board of Trustees secretariat.

Managerial Responsibilities

Actively follow up any task that has been delegated by the Executive Director to another staff member to ensure completion as per deadline;

Act as a liaison between the Executive Director and office staff as well as other stakeholders;

Actively responding on inquiries for information regarding the Hospital;

Participate in drafting and distribution of Executive Director monthly letter/e-mail.

Other duties

Provide administrative support to senior management of the hospital;

Required Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Holder of a University Degree with bias in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Planning, Hospital Administration from a recognized institution.

At least three to five years progressive work experience as Personal Assistan / Administrative Officer/Health Secretary.

Friendly disposition and strong interpersonal skills

Excellent writing, analytical, and attention to details Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Publisher, knowledge of at least one statistical program (Epi info or SPSS) will be an added advantage.

Director of Medical Services

Position Description:

Reports To: Executive Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

To head the Medical Services Directorate and manage both capital and human resources

To assist the Deputy Executive Director in formulating policies and regulations relating to Medical services

To prepare annual plans for staffing, training, equipment and budgets in line with MNH Corporate Strategic Plan and the Business Plan

To ensure that service quality control measures and guidelines are developed, approved and implemented efficiently

To coordinate implementation of policies and operational programmes on approved plans and targets

To ensure that Medical Services and quality guidelines are developed, approved and implemented efficiently.

To advise the Executive Director on all issues pertaining to the Directorate's operations

Senior Accountant II

Position Description:

Reports to: Head, Finance Department

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage effectively human resources under your area of your responsibility, by leading and supervising execution of their duties and responsibility

Manage and coordinate revenue collection functions from both internal and external sources of income

Develop performance targets and evaluates job performance of staff working under your area of supervision

Participate in recruitment process and coordinate orientation and on job training of new and existing staff

Coordinate preparation of Annual Action Plan and Budget which focus on priorities

Design strong internal controls over revenue collection system and monitor its implementation

Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue generation from both internal and external sources of income Plan and implement strategies to collect un-paid fees from public and private in-patients

Develop a strong revenue verification system and supervise its implementation

Monitor adherence to exemption policy and other policies relevant to revenue collection

Prepare reliable, relevant and complete reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to assist management in making informed decisions

Assist External and Internal Auditors to perform audit assignments

Prepare and submit written responses to audit findings and ensure auditor's recommendations are implemented in time.

Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants to this position must have a Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with Certified Public Accountant Professional Certificate (CPA) and

Claims Officer (2 Posts)

Position Description:

Reports to:Head, Finance Department

Duties and Responsibilities

Verify claims against agreed terms of service contracts

Undertake claims processing

Source clients, companies, Insurance funds, NGO sensitize them to enter into medical service contract with MNH Conduct periodical review of all contacts to see whether they are still valid and take appropriate measures accordingly based on your findings

Monitor implementation of terms and conditions of service contracts Implement quality control checks to all' claims before dispatching invoices to clients, to avoid unnecessary claim rejections.

Ensure disease or diagnostic code adherence, while assessing claims

Ensure that all services provided to credit patients are entered in a computerized system

Ensure that all services provided to out-patients and in-patients are captured and billed accordingly

Ensure that all invoices are prepared and dispatched to

Clients by 15th of very month

Communicate effectively and timely with credit clients including Health Insurance Companies and ensure that all queries are replied on time

Closely and timely follow up receivables due from debtors. Follow up to obtain complete and concise feedback on rejected claims and process and re-submt corrected claims Generate and analyze monthly report on claims dispatched and amount collected

Liaise with ICT to ensure that service, respective prices and other terms up loaded on the system are in line with existing contracts

Takes part in various researches related to claims administration

Maintain proper and up-to-date records of claims processed and paid.

Senior Medical Specialist (Emergency Medicine Department)

Position Description:

Reports to:Head of Department

Duties and Responsibilities

To provide clinical supervision to intern, registrar, and resident physicians in the unit

To set performance targets for interns, registrar, and resident physicians in the unit

To monitor and evaluate all aspects of intern and registrar physician job performance

To monitor and evaluate clinical performance of resident physicians

To oversee staff and operations in the Emergency Medicine Department operating theatre

To oversee the evaluation and triage of urgent cases to the Emergency Medicine Department operatingtheatre

Position Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

securely to ensure freshness and potency in accordance with good storage practice.

Position Description:

Duties and Responsibilities
