POSITION: ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

SALARY SCALE: M4
a. Must hold a PhD in a relevant discipline.
b. Must have teaching experience of at least seven (7) years.
c. Must have published at least five (5) peer reviewed articles in internationally recognized journals or five (5) book chapters since the last promotion OR
d. At least two internationally recognized books with a reputable publishing house since the last promotion.
e. Must have supervised at least two Masters students or one PhD student to completion
f. Must have a good record of community service.
g. Should demonstrate competence in supervising and developing other departmental staff.
h. Should have good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
i. Must be a person of high integrity.
