Cafe Africa Uganda is a non-profit association working with Uganda’s coffee sector to increase productivity, quality and production, so as to improve small-holder livelihoods.
We are seeking a suitable candidate to engage as the Country Manager of our Uganda Programme.
The position requires working closely with different stakeholders in the coffee industry, both in the public and private sectors, providing support for the national production campaign platform and steering committee.
The Country Manager will help develop the implementation of the vision of the organisation within the context of Uganda’s coffee industry, and will be responsible for the day to day management, fund-raising, and operations.
He will be answer able to the board of directors.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will have experience in managing multi-stakeholder processes,
- Have a masters-level qualification, preferably in agriculture, agricultural economics or management,
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Remuneration according to qualifications and experience.
