Post: Assistant/Deputy Manager/ Manager, Internal Audit,
Key Responsibilities and responsibilities:
Assist Country Head of Internal Audit (CHIA) to develop annual internal audit plan.
To supervise audit officials activities and ensure that audit engagement are conducted in accordance with the audit work program and objective of the audit have been achieved.
To discuss with the CHIA for major risk or audit findings identified during the course of the audit by the auditors
To review and finalize Internal audit reports submitted by all officials and submit to the CHIA on time for dispatch.
Establish strong risk management culture in the country office as well as field offices of BRAC Tanzania & BRAC Zanzibar .
Assist CHIA as well as respective program manager/ In- Charges in respect of risk identification, risk registers completion and timely submit to program anchors for review of risk registers.
Assist in preparing Bi annual comparison report on risk registers highlighting the impact of risk management services.
Regular communication and coordination with Risk Management Services Team, BRAC International, Head Office regarding risk Management services.
To resolve any other matter related to risk Management services instructed by CHIA or Risk Management Services Team.
Regular review and updating of Regulatory and Donors Compliance Checklist consultation with relevant Program Managers/ In-charges regarding regulatory and Donors Affairs.
Preparation of reports on regulatory and Donors Compliance Checklist and Submission to Country Head of Human resources.
Experience requirements.
At least three years work experience.
Educational requirements
Graduate in B.Com Accounting , Finance or any other related field and recognized professional accounting certifications such as CPA/ACCA/CA. Advanced University degree such as MBA/MSc is added advantage but not necessity.

Excellent communication skills in English [written and spoken]
