The Africa Programme at Chatham House is looking for an individual with demonstrable interest in African affairs who would like to gain valuable work experience in a policy institute.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills;
- Graduate or post graduate qualification in international relations, development studies, politics, or another related field;
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Excel and Access;
- Experience of working as part of a team.
Application details:
The placement would be for a period of three months, 3 to 5 days a week. Please state your availability in your cover letter.
Other Information:
This position is unpaid. The successful applicant would have access to almost all relevant meetings within the Institute on a variety of international affairs related topics, free lunch at Chatham House and use of the library. Travel to and from work within London zones 1–6 will be paid for.
If short-listed, applicants should expect to come for a short interview at Chatham House.
