8.23      PRINCIPAL IT/ SYSTEM ANALYST - 1 POST

8.23.1  WORK STATIONS: TAA Headquarters.

8.23.2      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·    Leads in identifying system platform, components and dependencies,

·    Reviews and provides input for system documentations,

·    Participates in disaster recovery and business continuity planning process,

·    Supervise and coordinate a major segment of an organization-wide information technology system that impacts other information technology operations so as to perform related work as required,

·    Responsible for designing and testing application software in accordance with established standards;

·    Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics,

·    Advise on configuration management; Backup Plan and Disaster recovery procedures,

·    Provide advise to the procurement unit on office system applications purchases and verify against required specifications,

·    Oversee audits of all information systems,

·    Oversee integrity of systems and data backups,

·    Develop and maintain systems guidelines and standards,

·    Directs, supervises and coordinates organization wide information technology system that impacts other information technology operations,

·    Responsible for overall aspects of systems administration,

·    Provides assistance to IT Manager concerning the use and purchase of computer applications with special attention to system applications and tools,

·    Perform any other related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.

8.23.3 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

·    Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent from a recognized Institution.

·    Should possess International Certifications in Microsoft; Certified System engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA), CCNP Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Microsoft Certified system Center (SCCM)

·    At least 6 years working experience in a reputable organization.

·    Not more than 45 years of age.

8.23.4 REMUNERATION

Salary Scale:            TAA SCALE 8.
