Private Health Laboratories Board (PHLB), is the Government Institution under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare which registers and manages all Private Health Laboratories in Tanzania (Mainland). Vacancies exist at the Board's Head office in Dar es Salaam and applications from suitably qualified and competent persons are invited to fill the following posts:-
Accounting Technician (I Post)
3.1 Duties and Responsibilities
3.1.1. 3.1.2 3.1.3
Writing of payment vouchers.
Sorting and filing of payment vouchers.
Receiving documents from stores and attaching them to relevant payment vouchers.
Maintaining Loan, imprest and General Legers. Preparation of monthly payroll.
Preparation of monthly statutory returns, (NSSF & PA YE etc) Prepares monthly Journal Vouchers.
Prepares monthly Bank Reconciliation.
Assist in preparing periodic financial reports
Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by Superiors from time to time.
3.2 Entry Requirements/Qualification
3.2.1 Secondary School Education
3.2.2 Holder of Full Accounting Technician Certificate (ATEC II) or equivalent qualification with not less than three years working experience.
3.2.3 Any Diploma in Accounting from recognised Institution
3.2.4 Must be competent in computer. (Microsoft office Excel and Microsoft office word.
