8.25.1
WORK STATIONS:
Mpanda, Mwanza, Songwe, Dodoma and Mafia Airports.
8.25.2 DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Keep
proper accounting records and books of accounts,
·
Maintain
cashbook,
·
Collection
all cheques from Treasury, parent Ministry and customers,
·
Receive,
issue receipts and bank cash and cheques instantly,
·
Maintaining
petty cashbook,
·
Maintaining
staff imprest records and retirement,
·
Daily
balancing of cashbook,
·
Daily
preparation and submission of cheque list to bank,
·
Batch
paid vouchers,
·
Maintain
and report unclaimed salaries and dishonored cheques,
·
Any
other duties as assigned by superior,
·
Write
and maintain Revenue Cash Book,
·
Collect
accountable documents from Treasury,
·
Receive
and bank cash and cheques instantly,
·
Prepare
Revenue and sales day book,
·
Preparation of monthly summary of revenue
i.e. balancing of revenue collector’s cashbook (RCCB), exchequer receipt
voucher (ERV) and bank deposit pay-in-slip,
·
Debt
collections,
·
Daily gathering and sorting of Aircraft
flight movements from Regional Airports or International Airports,
·
Daily preparation and recording of Aircraft
flight movements from Regional Airports / International Airports for billing
the airlines,
·
Daily
preparation and monthly submission of IATA billing data,
·
Monthly
submission of local aircraft flight movements reports,
·
Monthly
submission of IATA Aircraft flight movement reports ,
·
Performing
any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
8.25.3 QUALIFICATION
AND EXPERIENCE
·
Ordinary Diploma in Accountancy from any
recognized Institution and must be computer literate.
·
Holders of computer accounting packages (like
TALLY, By Epicor etc.) will have an added advantage
·
Not
more than 35 years of age.
8.25.4 REMUNERATION
Salary
scale: TAA SCALE 4.
NB: GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania and not above 45 years old, however, should also observe the age limit for each position where indicated.
