Finance Manager: You will be responsible for the day to day management of Tanzania’s finance directorate related activities The role supports the Director of Finance to implement effective and efficient financial management controls within the context of the country strategy as well as the global finance team objectives.

Key top three responsibilities:

You will ensure the WAT finance strategies, policies, guidelines and other appropriate policies are implemented and regularly updated based on WaterAid international procedures, and in compliance with Tanzania laws. Use SUN systems accounting software to monitor actual expenditure against budget

Ensure and maintain reliable and accurate and accounting records for the organization and produce management accounts to facilitate the effective decision making for the organization. You will produce regular analyses of income and expenditure to assist the Director of Finance and senior management team in the budget monitoring process.

Analyze financial information and reports, identify problem areas, take remedial action where necessary and make recommendations to management .You will ensure the timely submission of high quality financial reports, for internal and external audiences.

To be successful, you’ll need to have at least level 3 /skills level part qualified with CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or a Bachelor’s degree in a Finance field with experience in finance and accountancy in a senior position in a major organisation.
