5. ICT RISK AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER – 1 POSITION (HEAD OFFICE) - DAR ES SALAAM
Tasks & Responsibilities.
• Embed and integrate Risk Management techniques into the business entities.
• Assess effectiveness and compliance of security operations procedures
• Assess information systems for actual or potential breaches in security.
• Investigate and report security breaches
• Assess implementation of system changes required to maintain system security
• Assess compliance with Organization’s Business Continuity Plan.
• Co-ordinate the risk management at business entity level.
• Review day to day implementation of the Risk Management Plan.
• Ensure that business value is derived from risk management Initiatives
• Assists defining policy for distributing and offsetting these risks, and work to communicate bank’s vision so that individuals understand and support it.
• Design the framework for risk management for day to day decisions on risk weight and tolerance with regard to Managers and the business frontline staff.
• Review the adequacy of controls established to ensure compliance with Policies, Plans, Procedures and business objectives

Qualification, Work experience and Competences
• A degree in Computer Science or its Equivalent from a recognized Higher Institution with at least two years of work experience. Working Knowledge of MS Window Server, Linux / UNIX, desktops operating systems, database management systems development and implementation, SQL server, My SQL. Certification in CISCO, Microsoft and Oracle and work experience in banking industry will be an added advantage.
• Ability to perform work independently at minimal supervision, Sensitive to Operational Risks, Self –initiative and decisive with High standard of integrity
