7. BANK OPERATIONS OFFICER – 1 POSITION (FOREX DEPARTMENT) – DAR ES SALAAM 
tasks & Responsibilities
• Perform Funds Transfers operations.
• Provide quality service to customers and respond to customers queries timely;
• Manage and control Credit Outstanding (COs) suspense account reconciliation on daily basis;
• Initiate transactions through computer system as per delegated authority;
• Manage documentations and perform custodianship duties for documents/vouchers falling under Funds Transfers unit;
• Prepare and submit various reports as will be required by supervisor, Branch Manager, Internal/External Auditors, Director of Banking Operations and Managing Director;
• Receive Fund Transfer application forms from customers; scrutinize applications by verifying signatures and balances for further processing transfers as per customers’ instructions and Bank’s Procedures.
• Recover from customers, TRA taxes related to Funds Transfers as per TRA’s, prepare schedules for remittance to TRA through head office on monthly basis and update register for TRA taxes.
• Reconcile various suspense accounts and dispose reconciling items as per Bank’s Policy and Service Level Agreement.
• Prepare accounting vouchers for posting into core banking system and advice to other Banks and customers.
Qualification, Work experience and Competences.
A Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Banking, Economics, Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration with at least two years working experience in particular fund transfer Unit in the Banking Sector. She/he should be computer Literate.
