Taasisi Ya Sanaa Na Utamaduni Bagamoyo (TaSUBa)
Pursuant to Executive Agency Act No. 30 of 1997, Taasisi ya Sanaa na Utamaduni Bagamoyo (TaSUBa) under the Ministry of Information, Culture and Sports of Tanzania is determined to meet its mission and objectives by continuing to offer and deliver high quality education in Arts and culture by recruiting competent and well motivated staff both
‘Academic’ and ‘Non-Academic’ who will facilitate effective transformation of students opting for a career in arts and culture.
NB: GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania and not above 45 years old, however, should also observe the age limit for each position where indicated.
ii. Applicants must attach an up-to-date current Curriculum Vitae (CV) having reliable contact, postal address, e-mail and telephone numbers.
iii. Applicants should apply on the strength of the information given in this advertisement.
iv. The title of the position and institution applied for should be written in the subject of the application letter and marked on the envelope; short of which will make the application invalid.
v. Applicants must attach their detailed relevant certified copies of academic certificates:
- Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates.

3.16.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise accounting tasks including receiving and paying out cash and cheques.
• Maintain full and accurate accounts records i.e. General ledger, subsidiary ledgers, journals, etc.
• prepare trial balances.
• Check the correctness of claims and retirements, and ensuring that they are supported by appropriate authority/evidences.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation, statement and making follow up reconciliation items.
• Supervise and controls of vote books.
• Supervise daily bank balance position report.
• Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his/her supervisor.
3.16.2 QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Accountancy e.g. B.Com (Accountancy), BBA (Accountancy), BA (Accountancy) or professional Module E with working experience of at least three years in a similar field.
• Must be computer literate.
