MEDICAL DOCTORS (1) POSITIONS –MWANZA CLINIC

Purpose of the Position

To provide satisfactory clinical service to all patients coming to AAR Clinic by carrying out the clinical procedures ethically and professionally as required with adherence to company rules and regulations under minimum supervision

The Successful candidate will be based in Mwanza and will report to HEALTH CENTER MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

• History taking and doing physical examination with respect of patients’/clients’ complaints.
• Diagnosing patients in collaboration with the laboratory technician.
• Prescribing basing on diagnosis/complaints of the clients/patients.
• Performing minor surgical procedures e.g. diagnostic aspiration, incision and drainage stitching wounds etc.
• Counselling
• Health education provision.
• Referring cases to the appropriate personnel/immediate care takers/PPOs in accordance with services that cannot be handled or carried out here at our clinic.
• Providing the Health Centre Manager/Management with trends of diseases on a monthly basis
• Registering the clients with respect of their dates of visits (vital signs, clinical notes, laboratory. Investigations, medication etc) which stays as existing records of our clients.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor or Management from time to time

The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Medicine
• Minimum 2 years or a fresh graduate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivating and ability to enhance team work
• High level proficiency in computer use.
• Team player
• Good communication skills – English – written and ora
