KCB is looking for a qualified individual to fill the following key position:
1.  Senior Manager - Agent Banking
Job Ref: RB 38/2014
The Position: Reporting to the Head of Channels, the Senior Manager, Agent Banking will be responsible for the growth & profitability of the Agent Banking Segment through the execution of the Bank’s Strategy on Agent Banking in alignment with the Business Strategic Plan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and co-ordinate the development, rollout and management of Agent Banking Business through acquisition of agents in compliance with the set agent selection criteria and ensuring customer usage of agent outlets.
  • Initiate and ensure establishment of robust remuneration tariff for agents.
  • Develop a robust stable of products and services to be consumed by agents and bank customers via the agent network in particular an innovative sustainable credit model that will enable bank customers to access credit through the agent network in a controlled environment.
  • Execute operational excellence, cost management and compliance to internal policies and CBK guidelines.
  • Champion customer service and implementation of quality service delivery standards.
  • Manage Agent Banking Team ensuring performance objectives are met, coordinate channel growth activities and offer guidance to the Team and Branches on matters relating to Agent Banking.
  • Responsible for gathering market intelligence for the improvement of the channel as well as rollout Agent Banking to the Region.
  • Coach, mentor and train Agent Banking Teams on product and service offering.
The Person
For the above position the successful applicants should have:-
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business related field
  • Professional Qualification (CPA) and Postgraduate qualification (MBA) will be an added advantage
  • At least 6 years general banking experience at management level and with experience in the Agent Banking  sector and must have:
  • Experience in Sales.
  • Experience in Credit analysis and administration.
  • Experience in Customer service/Relationship Management.
  • Experience in Handling Agency Banking Solutions.A thorough knowledge of Retail Banking products and services, and extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to network, generate new business and develop strong business relations.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competences in championing high performance management.
  • A good understanding of risk, credit policies and procedures.
  • Excellent planning, organization, problem solving and analytical skills.
2. Head of Corporate Banking – KCB South Sudan
Job Ref: SSD 2/2014
The Position: Reporting to the Managing Director KCB South Sudan, the job holder will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the bank’s Corporate Business whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. 
The position will involve the management of teams to deliver financial solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our existing and potential corporate clients.  
The job holder will be required to market for corporate business for the Bank and ensure growth in the Region’s portfolio in order to maximize the Bank’s revenue.
Key Responsibilities
The major responsibilities of this position will be:-
  • To offer strategic leadership and direction of the Bank’s Corporate business in line with the Bank’s overall strategic intentions and business plans.
  • To grow corporate client and revenue base through formulation and marketing of appropriate financial solutions to corporate, institutional and selected SME clients.
  • To lead and manage the teams operating in the Corporate Units while ensuring adequate and relevant training, leadership development and performance management of the unit’s staff
  • Proactively lead acquisition and development of long term client relationships within the Sudan market in order to achieve excellence in customer service and customer loyalty.
  • Continuously evaluate and cross-sell  financial solutions to clients in order to maximize profitability, while ensuring that all the risk management principles are being adhered to at all times.
  • To be the primary point of contact for all the Corporate customers and to build effective cross- functional relationships within the bank in order to deliver effective service.
  • To foster a strong and robust relationships with all the key stakeholders of the Bank including but not limited to shareholders, customers, regulators and the community at large.
  • To ensure delivery of world class customer service to the bank’s corporate client base.
  • To ensure regular product innovation and delivery to the market in order to meet customers’ needs on a timely basis.
  • To maintain a good loan book and ensure profits are increased, accounts out of order are reduced and downgrading/provisions is reduced.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have:-
  • University Degree from a recognized institution. Possession of a postgraduate degree or professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management and at least 3 years’ experience in credit and a proven record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of corporate banking clients.
  • Extensive and thorough knowledge of the financial services dynamics as well as specific knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Complete knowledge and clear understanding of the bank's credit processes and operating systems;
  • Sound knowledge of the business environment and operating dynamics of South Sudan and the entire East African region.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage strategy, change, diversity, financial performance, productivity, championing customer focus, and in managing people in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to network and develop strong internal and external business relationships.
  • Ability to be innovative in identifying and harnessing new and existing opportunities to maximize business results while being highly action oriented;
  • A high level of business acumen and ability to display orientation to market dynamics and  profit orientation;
  • A proven track record in delivering results;
  • Possess good risk and financial analysis skills
  • Possess a valid Passport
3. Relationship Manager - Diaspora Banking
Job Ref: RB 39/2014 
The Position: Reporting to the Head - Diaspora Banking, the role will be the liaison between the diaspora customers and the Bank to ensure growth of the business value chains and profitability in addition to maximizing the Bank’s revenues.
Key Responsibilities
  • To be the principal point of contact for the Bank’s relationship with a designated portfolio of Diaspora customers and non-customers to all other KCB Group units as customer needs dictate.
  • To sell, grow business and ensure that there is increased customer base, deposits, earnings, facility utilization and usage of all bank products and services.
  • To achieve the set growth targets for the portfolio in terms of numbers and values for both Liabilities and Assets.
  • To ensure the existing customer relations are well maintained to achieve high customer retention.
  • Plan, manage and execute campaigns in international markets with high customer potential for recruitment and articulate Bank focus with targeted presentations.
  • Analyze market intelligence across the global markets to facilitate development of innovative products.
  • To ensure quality service delivery for customers to achieve agreed service levels.
  • Undertake existing customer profiling and up selling to increase value per customer.
  • Manage diaspora customer requests/transactions in compliance with KCB operational guidelines and procedures with zero tolerance to operational risk & frauds.
  • Manage customer portfolio At Risk (PAR), account migration and provisions to ensure they are within the Banks acceptable levels.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
  • University Degree preferably in a business related field.
  • Professional qualifications (KIB/ACIB/CPA/ACCA) or MBA is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years general banking experience and must have:
  • Experience in Sales (Personal/ Business /Retail /Corporate Banking) and product Development.
  • Experience in Relationship Management and Customer Service.
  • Experience in Credit analysis and Administration.
  • Experience in Retail, Corporate, Treasury and Mortgage Products.
  • Strong all round understanding of all bank products (Retail, Corporate, Treasury and Mortgage) in the bank is required.
  • Knowledge of global commercial banking products and services.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of global banking business environment, regulations and operations.
  • Excellent, high quality interpersonal, presentation, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to network through all open channels with large technological dependency for the target market
  • Capacity to build strong networks and business relations internally in addition to diverse business and government partners.
  • Proven excellent analytical, planning, organization and execution skills.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel widely and be accessible to customers from different global time-zones.
  • A good understanding of risk, credit policies and procedures.
