Holder
of Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Sociology, Law or Public
Administration from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications with
at least four (4) years working experience in similar position
(b) Duties and responsibilities
(i) Organizes, supervises and manages
the administrative assignment of the School, Directorate or any other Unit of
the University
(ii) Compile lists of applicants for
admission into various training Undergraduate Programs
(iii) Coordinates the completion of
annual budget proposals.
(iv) Controls disbursement from
operating budget.
(v) Taking and upkeeping minutes of
Directorates and Management committee meetings.
(vi) Resolves with finance office
discrepancies in periodic budget reports.

of first degree/ advanced Diploma / Professional Level IV in Materials Management
or Procurement and Logistics Management or its equivalent.

(i)
Responsible
for management of all request letters from user departments including projects.
(ii)
Responsible
for preparation of standard Invitation for Quotations issued by Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) .
(iii)

for preparation of Call – off orders and keep records.

for preparation of Mini-competitions when common used items are procured using
frame work contractors under Government Procurement Service Agency when
necessary.

Module E with not less than three (3) years of relevant working experience in

(i) Drafts audit reports for executed
audit programmes scrutinize and advise the management.
(ii) Examines and reviews annual
financial statements for conformity with International financial reporting
standards, before being submitted to external auditors.
(iii) Controls and supervises audit
team activities at the audit location.
(iv) Surveys functions and activities
in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of the
system of control to achieve established objectives.
(v) Reviews internal controls and
submitting recommendations to superiors.
(vi) Coordinates the execution of
audit programmes.
(vii) Ensures that internal control
systems are adequate to avert perpetration of frauds, misappropriation and
embezzlements.
(viii) Reviews audit reports based on
the audit findings, progress reports of special audits carried out and
effectiveness of managerial controls and implementation of systems, policies
and practices for the Institute.

preparing internal audit programmes in accordance with generally accepted audit

8. SENIOR ESTATES OFFICER I – 1 POST
(a) Required Qualifications
Holder
of Master degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture plus five (5) years
working experience in similar position and must have been registered by
relevant Professional boards as practitioners.
(b) Duties and Responsibilities
(i)
Provides
specialized advice and service to the Directorate of Estates.
(ii)
Formulates
policies for Estates Management.
(iii)
Develops
objectives and plans, and installing Systems and procedures relating to Estates
Management.
(iv)
Participates
in the development and implementation of training programmes for estates staff.
(v)
Provides
consultancy service in Estates Management.
(vi)
Makes
feasibility studies and evaluates the viability of proposed projects in Estates
Management.

Maintains
co-coordinative work contacts with building staff or the Estates Development.
