About the project
The project is located in Kigoma Region in the Western part of Tanzania. Provide consultancy services for the supervision of upgrading a 50 km road to Bitumen standard.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Must be a registered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Pavement or Materials Engineering.
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of specific experience in Pavement/Materials matters related to road works
- Must have served in a similar capacity on at least two (2) road projects of similar magnitude and complexity in the last 10 years.
- Must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Sahara countries
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory
It would be advantageous to have;
- Experience in the Region
- Working level of fluency in local language(s)
- Knowledge of local culture or administrative system and government organisation
Duration of contract
Approximately 18 Man-months
