1. Manage Data Network operations and maintenance functions to meet high quality network and service standards and resolve corporate network problems within SLA timeframes.
2. Implement network installations, integrations and expansions in line with strategic network development plans.
3. Develop solutions to clear faults; or liaise with other sections, departments or equipment vendor to develop solutions and clear faults.
4. Ensure continuous high availability of Data Network and related services.
5. Ensure continuous high availability of IP/MPLS transport core for NGN fixed and mobile voice services.
6. Ensure errors and faults of the Data Network are detected, reported, logged and managed within defined timelines
7. Ensure 24/7 monitoring of the Data Networks and submit analysed network performance reports.
8. Ensure 24/7 monitoring of corporate networks and timely provide remedial actions to clear faults or improve quality of service.
9. Coordinate and implement trial services as may be advised by commercial team.
10. To address performance capability issues within the section and ensure employees are actively involved in continuous learning and development that enable the section meets the anticipated human resource performance requirements.
11. Accountable for the performance of the employees under the unit including setting performance objectives, conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedbacks, coaching and mentoring to maximize employees’ job satisfaction.
12. To monitor and control costs and expenses within the section and ensure efficient usage, management and security of resources under the section.
13. To implement and exercise delegated authorities and any other instructions and directives as may be issued by the Head of department from time to time
