The project is located in Kigoma Region in the Western part of Tanzania. Provide consultancy services for the supervision of upgrading a 50 km road to Bitumen standard.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Must be a registered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of cumulative experience related to road/bridge design and construction supervision
- Served as a Project Manager/Resident Engineer on at least three (3) bituminous road construction projects of similar magnitude and complexity in the last 10 years
- Must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Sahara countries
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory
It would be advantageous to have;
- Experience in the Region
- Working level of fluency in local language(s)
- Knowledge of local culture or administrative system and government organisation
