Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences is inviting applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to be considered for employment to fill the following vacant posts:-
Tutorial Assistant - 4 Posts.
Required Qualification
First Degree in the appropriate field. G.P.A of 3.8 in the first degree.
Areas of Specialization
Medical Laboratory Sciences, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Clinical Pharmacology, Haematology and Blood Transfusion, Emergency Medicine, Behavioral Sciences, Community Health, Environmental and Occupational Helalth Sciences, Development Studies, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Parasitology and Medical Entomology, Pharmaceutics, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Nursing Management, Clinical Nursing, Orthodontics Paedodontics and Community Dentistry, Biological and pre clinical studies, Natural Medicine, Botany Agronomy and Plant breeding, Natural Products development and formulation

Duties and Responsibilities
Understudying senior faculty by attending Lectures, seminars, tutorials and practicals where applicable.
Studies and acquire skills and knowledge in training, research and consultancy.
Assists in research and consultancy projects.
Develops training proposals conducted by Senior Faculty. Participates in curriculum development.
Assists on other service programs of the department.
Performs any other duties that may be assigned by a competent authority.
Salary Scale: PUTS 1-2
N.B. Position of Tutorial Assistant is a training post. Successful candidates shall be required to join Postgraduate Training within a short time after employment.

Computer Certificates where applicable.
Professional Certificates from respective boards where applicable. One recent passport size picture and copy of birth certificate.
Form IV and Form VI result slips are strictly not accepted. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate to legal action.
Applicants currently employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) or National Accreditation Council for Technical Education (NACTE) for foreign non degree certificates
