The Institute of Accountancy Arusha is a parastatal academic Institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate training courses. It is established by the Institute of Accountancy Act No.1 of 1990 with its headquarters at Njiro Hili, Arusha City. The Institute wishes to recruit a number of suitable, motivated, potential and capable human resources from the market on an unspecified time and pensionable terms.

Librarian Trainee - 2 Post Main Campus Arusha
Scope of the position
Holder of the position Is responsible for all assigned duties In library services and Its management as area of specialization. The outputs in this position are expected outputs: expected In the quality, efficient and effective delivery of library materials to library users with big and value adding results with Integrity and honesty.
Position relationships:
• Reports to library Services Manager
• Supervises: NIL
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Supervise classified catalogues books and other library materials including maintaining and index to keywords for retrieval purposes
• Produce bibliographic information and guides
• Select and orders information resources;
• Shelve books, periodicals, journals and other library materials;
• Plan and administer library service
• Maintain relevant website and emails addresses and facilities access of Information from Internet:
• Supervise and carry out users Instruction In information retrieval systems
• Maintain a record of Library materials loaned to users
Person specification:
The holder of this position must have the following:
Holder of a good Bachelor degree (3.8 or above GPA) or equivalent In library related discipline. Must have a maximum age of 40 years.
