Senior Network Optimization and Quality Engineer

Position Title:	Senior  Network Optimization and Quality Engineer
Reporting To:	Network Optimization & Quality Manager
Location:	HQ, DSM
Job Purpose:	Optimization of the in-country 3G network for Airtel Tanzania, in conjunction with the Strategic Partners to meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Key Accountabilities:	Monitor 2G/3G Network Quality parameters and  recommend on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Perform and process drive tests log files and Layer 3 analysis and produce a report with optimization recommendations to improve performance.  Follow up on the network quality processes for consistent customer experience over and above competition  Ensure accurate and timely MAPA generation, as well as network quality reports to OPCO & Group management.  Drive the collection of business inputs, technical utilization trends and forecast  Ensure teamwork and collaboration across all business units within the value chain Maintain high level relationships with key stakeholders including internal business leaders, strategic outsourced partners, and technology partners to achieve partner engagement. Review partner performance to ensure on-time, efficient and accurate delivery Achieve customer delight and experience on network performance Monitoring Voice of Customer, Complaints and Inputs from other sources/survey results. Support special business needs in the market to achieve the specific market targets as on need Direct, monitor and review functional QoS teams across the country. These include but are not limited to network optimization, network changes, expansion, benchmarking and other related operations
Educational Qualifications & Technical Skills	Bachelor of Engineer degree (communication, electronics, or related fields ) Sound knowledge of Mobile Network Planning and Optimization tools Analytical, statistical and Presentation skills Planning and Optimization Skills
Relevant Experience	5-7 years of experience in Mobile Telecom Industry Minimum 3 years in 3G Network Performance /Optimization/Planning
Other requirements	Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
