General Manager Soft drinks , Hays - Tanzania

In over 40 years our client has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the leading regional companies in East Africa. The Group has operations across the Region including Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique primarily in the Food & Beverage sector, but also in Packaging, logistics and Real Estate. One of the major areas of there business is within the Carbonated Soft Drinks division where it has always been there vision to provide affordable and high quality soft drink products to the population.

The CSD division is currently going through major restructuring and development to double the size and capacity of there existing plants and to build a new green field manufacturing facility, including planning, installation, and commissioning of a high volume Krones PET bottling operation for water, juice and carbonated juice drinks.

As the General Manager and reporting to the Chairman of the company you will be responsible for both the continued growth and development of this division and the day to day management of operations including quality, inventory control, distribution, finance and People Management.
You will be degree qualified ideally in engineering or a technical discipline, Sales & Marketing or Finance. Minimum of (10) years managerial experience of which (5) would have been as a General Manager operating in the soft drinks/beverages sector. Experience of working outside your country of origin and ideally Africa is preferred. 

This is a full expatriate role with a married status posting available. On top of a generous tax free offshore salary you will also receive a local living allowance, furnished accommodation, annual leave, transportation and a fuel allowance.
