CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities
Data collection, structural Inspections and reporting
structural analysis, design and detailing
Report writing, attendance to Site visits, prepare Tenders, and contract documents
Contract administration, Drawing and supervision of engineering detailing
Preparation of Expressions of Interest, Proposals and Marketing documentation
Project costing, Project Quality control on engineering deliverables
Preparation specifications, Project plans and Project Co- ordination
Co-ordinate and supervise construction of civil engineering works to ensure adherence to specifications
Train of Junior Engineers and Logistic support of departmental activities
Conduct quality assurance of design and reports produced by department
Liaise with Clients and other professionals on project matters
Mentor and Train junior engineers
Any other duties assigned related thereto.
Design and detailing of structural drawings
Computer literacy in the relevant software's
Education/Skills and Competencies required
Three years (3) and above working experience
Bachelors Degree in Relevant Engineering Field minimum upper second grade
Professional qualification and statutory registration
Membership in professional bodies
Computer Literacy and Software proficiency in structural analysis programs
CAD competence and ability to work indecently
