TIGO Chief Commercial Officer

Role Purpose

Together with the Management Team responsible for:
• Contributing to Tigo’s strategic goals
• Continually improving the present (and future) performance of Tigo Rwanda
• Creating team spirit based on the Tigo culture
• Stimulating innovation and consumer focus throughout the operation
Key Responsibilities

• Building the offer that best suits the consumer needs across all segments and categories
• Developing a business and organization plan that deliver revenue and profit objectives (short, mid and longer term)
• Manage commercial budget.
• Providing guiding principles for future business sustainability
• Guaranteeing we deliver on brand promise in all company products
• Responsible of the validation of research plan, participation of innovation proposals.
• Authorizes Product or Process Briefs
• Authorizes business case, validates A&P, Brand Check and Pricing for the Offer.
• Authorizes final Blueprint of the offer
• Validate test results, brand consistency and training plan.
• Work in coordination with Marketing Manager on all products launches
• Evaluate process functionality, compile inputs from all areas involved, analyze performance versus blueprint expectations and share findings/recommendations for product/ service/ process.
• Extensive knowledge of the mobile commercial environment, from pricing tools to customer delivery
• Proactively works with team to know the performance and capability of the team, ensuring underperformance is addressed, potential is developed and everyone receives feedback, coaching and training – to maximize their contribution
• Uses commercial strategy to create a detailed and achievable implementation plan. All market implementations are part of the Commercial Strategy and not random tactical plays.
• Great at working with the team so that activity is aligned to business strategy; understands trends and market influences and how market changes need to be reflected in the business plan

WORK AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
• University Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Engineering and Business Administration
• MBA or Masters preferably in Marketing
• 5-10 years Senior Marketing and managerial experience preferably in FMCG
