The Training Assistant will report to the Head of Training Unit and will be responsible for the following duties: 1. Responsible for the performance management and information technology training. 2. Ensure training manuals are updated and available. 3. Assists in the organization and conduct of training courses and workshops. 4. Provides logistics and administrative support to trainers. 5. Assist with the preparation for the training budget, input monitoring and implementation in Integrated Management Information Systems. 6. Provides general office support services; drafts and/or processes a variety of correspondence and other communications. 7. Launch announcements of training courses and follows up on training. 8. Create online surveys for needs assessment and evaluation. 9. Prepare power-point presentation for data collected in course evaluation surveys. 10. Monitor progress and effectiveness of the courses. Produce and distribute course certificates. 11. Maintain training-related automated systems and applications. 12. Oversee maintenance of computers and state of training room. 13. Sets up and maintains reference files/records (electronic and paper). 14. Schedules appointments/meetings, monitors deadlines, and prepares written responses relating to training matters. |

QUALIFICATIONS |
Education: |
Completion of secondary school education or equivalent is required. Additional technical qualifications in the fields of administration and training are desirable. |
Work Experience: |
Six (6) years of experience in administration, training or related field. |
Languages: |
: Fluency in oral and written English is essential. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage. |
Other Desirable Skills: |
