Location: Kampala, Uganda
WaterAid in Uganda (WAU) is looking for an experienced, dynamic and innovative Senior Programme Coordinator - Policy & Advocacy. You will be responsible for providing first hand policy analysis on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and how these relate to other human development issues in order to enhance the influencing capacity of WAU in Uganda’s WASH sector. You will lead in analysis of both government and donor policies and assess how they impact on sustainable and equitable delivery of WASH services. This will identify the policy agenda of WaterAid in Uganda’s influencing work at national and international levels.
Experience: At least 6 years demonstrated working experience in policy analysis, advocacy and campaigns in the development field with any reputable national or international agency.
Education: Minimum Degree in Social Sciences/Development predisposition, an advanced degree in Sociology, Economics, Social Statistics with a strong development bias.
