The BIS has an opening for an experienced economist in the Macroeconomic Analysis unit of its Monetary and Economic Department.
This is your opportunity to work at the hub of central bank cooperation, analysing global macroeconomic developments and policies; preparing studies for meetings of senior central bank officials; and representing the BIS at international conferences.
You have a PhD or equivalent work experience, with an emphasis on monetary economics, fiscal policy, international macroeconomics or international finance. You combine a strong
research background with several years of experience in applying economic analysis to real-world situations. In addition, you have excellent drafting and communications skills in English and perhaps another major world language.
