The QED Group is seeking an Operations & Logistics Coordinator for anticipated work on the three-year M&E Services project in conjunction with USAID/Tanzania. The goal of this project is to provide USAID/Tanzania substantive support with the collection of qualitative, quantitative, and analytical information to assist in assessing and evaluating the newly developed Country Development Cooperation Strategy's (CDCS) development hypothesis through performance monitoring and reporting, annual evaluations of project achievements, and assessments of geographic or sectoral impacts across the Mission's portfolio of projects in health, natural resource management, democracy & governance, and education. Please note that Tanzanian citizenship is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for logistics and operations, including fleet and asset management, travel, and security. The successful candidate will also manage technical and specialized procurement of supplies, equipment, and services, and coordinate with evaluation and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Tanzanian citizenship required;
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- At least three (5) years of experience managing logistics and procurement operations in Tanzania;
- Previous experience on USAID or other donor-funded evaluations and familiarity with USAID regulations;
- Excellent English writing skills and speaking ability.
