Global Communities formerly CHF International RWANDA is implementing a five year (2011-2016) Integrated Improved Livelihoods Project funded by USAID and locally named Ejo Heza. The project integrates business development skill training in its work with communities through Cooperatives and Integrated Saving and Lending Groups (ISLG’s).
Global Communities is seeking for a temporary M&E Database Officer, to support M&E team in validation of data for annual reporting. He/she will be responsible for verifying hard copy and softcopy used for data reporting.
Position: Temporary M&E Database Officer
Main Responsibilities:
- Compare data reported with source documents (hard copy and softcopy)
- Detect errors.
- Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data entered (Savix-MIS)
- Checking filling of supporting document
- Review RPOs documents to identify incomplete, inconsistent or illegible information
- Provide a report at the completion of the work
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, development economics, statistics, Social Sciences (Demography or Sociology), or any field relevant to monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience, preferably with an international NGO, including successful report and document writing, process planning, audit and monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience with program/project evaluations/audit and change management and in design and facilitation of short- and long-term training programs.
- To be available immediately.
