Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements, and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Good Neighbors International strives to improve lives, especially children lives through education, food, shelter, community development, medical care, advocacy and emergency relief since its establishment in 1991.
Good Neighbors is looking for a dynamic individual to join our highly motivated team in the following roles;
ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Reports to: Accounts Manager
Location-Dar Es salaam
Duties and responsibilities
1. Prepare monthly finance reports of head office and other projects.
2. Prepare monthly statutory returns.
3. Preparation of bank reconciliation statements.
4. Deduction updates and draws money when required.
5. Preparing vouchers both receipts and payments.
6. Handling petty cash.
7. Prepare payroll for staff.
8. Other duties as may be required.
Qualification and experience
At least two years experience.
Holder of Bachelor degree/Advanced diploma in Accounting, Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Must be a computer literate.
Excellent communication skills.
Problem solving skills.
Able to apply knowledge to new practices.
