Senior Sales Manager

Purpose of the job
To be responsible for planning, managing and directing specific pre-sales and sales business within the organisation,

Duties
• Provide Corporate Sales Strategic Management

b) Qualify Sales Opportunities
c) Manage Product Conflict
d) Manage Tender Proposals And Requests
e) Conclude Tender Proposals

h) Maintain Contract Register

• Adhere to BCX Corporate Regulations, Policies And Procedures
• Perform General Management Responsibilities,

Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any Information Technology related  fields, additionaldegree in Business Administration or
Commerce is an added advantage, but not mandatory,
• At least 3 years successful direct sales experience within the ICT industry is mandatory,
• At least 1 year people mariagement experience,
•Solid experience in compiling proposals and tenders,
• Solid experience of implementing and using formal sales methodologies and strategic account planning,
• Extensive client relationship management experience,

Sales Executive
Purpose of the job
To represent BCX in selling its products and services with the necessary supervision in line with Mle Corporate sales strategy and ensure after sale client satisfaction.

Duties:

• Selling IT related products and services offered by BCX
• Manage Client Accounts
• Manage Customer Relationships
• Provide Support to Sales Manager
• Contract Management
• Contract Monitoring
• Compilation of bids and proposals,

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/MIS/ Electronic and Telecommunication,
•Fluency in English and Swahili with excellent communications and presentation skills is mandatory,
• Experience is an added advantage but not essential.

Data Centre Operator
Purpose of the job

To effectively and efficiently ensure the BCX Data Centre infrastructure is administered as per the given corporate standards and procedures

Duties

Responsible for responding to the calls logged by various contracted clients hosting their infrastructure at the BCX Data Centre site situated in the Coastal (Pwani) region
To ensure the Data Centre facilities, such as air conditioners power, back-up power systems, communications links, security cameras, electric fence, access controls, lights, water etc. work  as planned.
To ensure that the security around the Data Centre premises is maintained by only allowing authorised personnel to access the site through established Access controls after they have followed all the appropriate procedures
To promptly notify the Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for data centre infrastructure of any malfunction.
To ensure that the contracted service providers at the site who are responsible for cleanliness, gardening ‘and security are performing their roles as per respective contracts
To generate daily activity reports using Ms-Excel and submit them to various parties through Internet.
Perform other systems support activities as guided and under supervision of the ?enior Systems Engineer
Minimum Qualification and Experience
• 1 year Certificate in Information Technology or Advanced Level Secondary School Certificate with knowledge in Ms Office applications.
• Capable of communicating in English and Swahili both verbally and in writing.
• Experience is an added advantage but not essential

Senior Service Delivery Manager
Purpose of the job .
To manage and control the resources required to deliver the contracted services to external clients utilising Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) switching services provided by BCX,Proactive management of customer related issues, problem and change management. Work with the Finance Department to build EFT switch related business cases and projects management.

• Bachelor’s degree in any business administration related fields, A degree in IT/MIS/Computer Science will be an added advantage, but not mandatory,
• At least 3 years of successful operations management experience, preferably in the financial sector, is mandatory;
• At least 1year people management experience is mandatory;
• Solid experience inproject implementation using any project management methodologies – certification in Prince II Project Management will be of significant advantage,
• Extensive client relationship management experience

Systems Support Engineer
Responsible for installation and modification of application software, Identifying and rectifying a broad, range of moderate complexity operational exceptions and error conditions, Dealing sensibly ‘and responsibly with unexpected or extraordinary events or incidents generated by application software. Responding to most enquiries by application software users, only escalating those that need specialist or management attention.

Pre-Sales Support Specialist
To provide support to the Sales effort by providing technical assistance to the Technical Sales Executives, through investigation, consultation and a thorough understanding of existing and potential clients requirements which is achieved through co-operation and interaction with Sales Divisions, Product Marketing Divisions and Technical Support Divisions.

Duties:

Identify Sales Opportunities,
Conceptualise Solutions.
Architect a detailed Design of IT related products and  services.
Budget Management.
Execute Sales Forecasting
Business Analysis and Opportunities Costing.
Customer Satisfaction Management
Conduct Research relevant to BCX product offerings
Compilation of bids and proposals
Minimum Qualification and Experience
