Senior Sponsorship Officer at World Vision Tanzania

World Vision Tanzania is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the following position:

Job Title: Senior Sponsorship Officer

Reports to: Sponsorship manager

Location: Head Office

Purpose of the position:

Coordinate the sponsorship business operations and provide technical support in enhancing quality Sponsorship Ministry.

Observe mission and core values of World Vision and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.

Major Responsibilities:

1: Ensure that sponsorship activities are done according to the Annual Sponsorship Operational Plan (ASOP)

2: Compile weekly and monthly progress reports and give feedback to supervisor and zonal sponsorship officers.

3: Conduct supportive visits and training to Zone and ADP teams to ensure compliance to sponsorship standards.

4: Facilitate and give feedback in designing and mailing of APRs and Christmas Cards.

5: Ensure proper management of  postage stamps

6: Coordinate, monitor, and report on GN, bounce-back, census, annual child updates, APR and Christmas card processes. 

7: Monitor and give feedback on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

8: Ensure timely collection and delivery of mails/parcels

Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

• Minimum Qualification required: BA in social sciences and other related fields
• Experience:  3 years
• Preferred: Above 3 years in related field
• Technical Skills & Abilities:
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Computer skills.
  • Management information system skills
  • Skills in report writing
  • Basic Knowledge in Child Sponsorship

Other Competencies/Attributes:

• Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
• Perform other duties as required.

Working Environment / Conditions:

• Travel:  10% Local travel is required.
• On call: 10%
