Senior Exploration Geologist

Tanzania American international Development Corporation 2000 Limited (Tanzam 2000) with its sister companies of Tancan Mining Company Limited and Buckreef Gold Company limited is a minerals and metals exploration company.

Among its various projects, the companies operate three advanced projects which are scheduled for production in the next twenty four (24) months. Tanzam 2000 therefore invites suitable qualified Personnel to apply for the positions of Senior Geologist, Biogeochemistry field botanist, Biogeochemistry field technician and Biogeochemistry laboratory technician at its field office, located atBuckreefKatoro area in Geita Region.

These are all full time employment.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor of science-Geology degree from any reputable, internationally recognized institution

8 years mining and Exploration experience in regional and or near surface mine exploration with excellent communication skills

Skills:

Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite and data software packages such as:

Vulcan, Micromine, Datamine or other similar Mine Planning Software Package 3D geological modeling software experience

Computer literacy for MS-0ffice packages especially word and excel. internet surfing & e-mailing

Driving skill is an added bonus

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise the design and implementation of exploratory programs to test and

Define resource potential of exploration prospects and identify near-mine resource expansion opportunities

Advance resource development projects through to the mine feasibility stage where reserve potential exist

Supervision and coordination of geological/technical staff involved in the exploration/development program

Maintaining stringent geological QAQC standards

Produce geological and other technical documents as required for all aspect of exploration requirements

Carry out exploration plan and ensure reporting of daily, weekly and monthly requirements

Maintain and review the geological data on an on-going basis to ensure information is always current

Ensure all data obtained is reviewed and assessed prior to entry into the database
