Roles and Responsibilities:
PST is seeking support in documentation and dissemination needs of the USAID TB CARE II and USAID Iraq PHCPI projects, and other projects in the PST portfolio as needed.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
TB CARE II
- Primary responsibility for managing and maintaining the TB CARE II web portal
- Responsibility for developing and distributing project updates via monthly newsletter. Actively seek other mechanisms for sharing routine project updates
- Work with TB CARE II PMSG manager, M&E officer and field staff to document project activities via an array of communications platforms (web stories, project briefs, journal articles etc.) utilizing both scholarly and mass media outlets
- Assist to edit and finalize project reports, publications, and other written material
- Assist TB CARE II staff to maintain communication and dissemination channels with project
- Organize and manage project publication inventory
Iraq PHCPI
- Develop uniform formats, and style guidance for producing PHCPI publications, materials, and presentations,
- Design, write, and edit promotional and informational material for internal and external audiences,
- Assist PHCPI to organize, maximize, and facilitate access to documentation, including internal and external technical publications and subject-related tools and manuals
- Edit PHCPI Annual Progress Reports, Work Plans and other documents and reports for submission to donors (including manuals, evaluations, workshop reports; working papers, abstracts, and summaries.
- Work with the project assistant to manage and maintain the PHCPI website
- Work with the project coordinator and field staff to document project activities through various communications channels (web stories, project briefs, journal articles etc.)
Other PST project activities
- Manage PST quarterly project newsletter
- Work with other project staff to document project activities on an as-needed basis
- Assist to identify dissemination and documentation outlets
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in public health, international relations, communications, or similar or bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience
- Strong writing skills (writing sample required)
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of public health programs preferred
