The Finance and Administrative Assistant shall be selected by BTC in collaboration with the Government Ministries involved and is responsible for a variety of administrative and finance-related tasks. S/he works under direct supervision of the Administrative & Financial Officer of BTC for all types of activities.
Location: Kampala
Duration of the contract: 3 years with a 6 months’ probation period
Remuneration: Attractive depending on years of relevant experience

- Banking, cheque and cash management
- Financial activity reporting
- Financial Administration
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Procurement
- Project administration
Requirement:
University degree in accounting, finance and/or administration or related field;
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and project administration;
* Experience with an international organization or NGO;
* Very good hands-on knowledge of excel and word is a must. Other programs (Database, accounting programs) a strong advantage;
* Knowledge of legislation related to public procurement
* Proficient in English;
* Mature, good communicator and team player;
* Able to work under stressful conditions.
