Innovation Fund Lead, based in Kigali, Rwanda
ARK is working with partners in Rwanda to establish an innovation and capacity-building fund for education. This will involve identifying high potential ideas and solutions and working with local organisations to test and evaluate approaches which can later be scaled up. The position is dependent on the partners securing funding which will be confirmed in late 2011.
ARK is seeking an exceptional individual to lead the Rwanda Education Innovation Fund. As Innovation Lead the consultant will support the Fund Manager with all aspects of programme management, including stakeholder liaison, and donor coordination.
Leading on Innovation, you will be responsible for managing the Innovation Fund which aims to support innovative projects run by NGOs, CBOs, faith based organisations or the private sector, within the framework of the Education Sector Strategic Plan (ESSP).
We are looking for a results-driven candidate who brings a strong track record of demonstrable delivery and expertise in programme design, implementation and innovation. The successful person needs to have strong managerial skills, an entrepreneurial approach, an ability to quickly build relationships and deploy strong programme design and management skills.
