LOGISTIC COORDINATOR

ACF is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for ACF in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation.
ACF-Spain seeks to expand its team of logistic coordinators for current and future vacancies in those geographical regions which are competence of ACF.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for managing the logistics of the mission.
- To take as an active part of the team for the Coordination of the mission.
TASKS
1.As responsible for managing the logistics of the mission:
- Regular contact with the team Logistics Madrid.
- Control of the logistics supply mission.
- Monitoring, support and technical evaluation of all personnel logistic.
- Oversight of Compliance Kit Log (logistical procedures) in all the bases.
- Review of reports to donors.
- Training needs assessment team.
- Responsible for reactivity logistics of the mission in case of emergency (definition and maintenance of contingency plans to log level, stocks of emergency capabilities of staff, etc.)
- Supporting the JDM in reviewing security plans for the Mission.
2.As part of the team for the Coordination of the mission:
- Assist in the definition of the strategic mission and more particularly to determine the logistics strategy in the long run.
- Representation of the Department of Logistics ACF E on the ground.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Capacity planning, organization and resolution.
- Experience in Logistics Coordination.
- At least 2 years experience in logistics field or in an organization coordinating logistics for Humanitarian Aid.
- Mastering English-Spanish / French-Spanish / English-French.
- Experience in coordinating staff, monitoring and evaluation programmes.
- Organizational capacity and resolution.
- Good communication skills.
- Intercultural sensitivity.

- Travel and accident insurance and repatriation on account of the organization.
- Extra per month and per child- Under 18 years old (range between: 168 € - 269 € gross month).
REQUIREMENTS
For candidates who are not in Madrid the first interview will be through telephone. Face to face interviews to be held in Madrid. Travel costs are initially on account of candidates, they will be reimbursed just in case of successful applications.
