MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The main purpose of the Coordinator role is to lead and manage South Sudan Rural livelihood projects effectively, and to ensure that project deliverables are delivered on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards. The role also requires the Program Coordinator to contribute to fund raising and developing the South Sudan Rural livelihood program.
POSITION IN ORGANISATION
Reports to: Country Director
Responsible for: Supervises Project Assistants, temporary staff and volunteers as and
when required.
SCOPE OF THE JOB
To take a leading role in maximising the outputs of the program by:
• Managing and co-ordinating all aspects of designated engagement projects
• Being a member of other project teams and participating in the work of other Units
• Identifying and developing new prospects and projects
• Contributing to team and organisational work
• Quality assurance
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To manage all aspects of designated engagement projects
• Proactively coordinating projects and acting as central point of contact for the project team including
client, facilitators, director, and project assistants
• Actively managing project contracts, finances and personnel to ensure projects are delivered within
time & budget
• Identifying, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Contributing to meeting and workshop design Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, three years of progressively responsible administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved including excellent score on independent CAAT test and demonstration of;
Knowledge of issues pertaining to area of assignment.
Knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles.
Knowledge of organizational practices.
Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
Skill in organizing work of self and others.
Skill in both verbal and written communication.
Remuneration:
USD 3350pm to 3790pm based on experience and academic qualification.
Medical & Group life insurance.
Rest & Recuperation (R&R) after every six week in field location.
