Salary: *Ordinarily Resident (OR) RWF 5,069,802 (FSN-6) *Not-Ordinary Resident (NOR): USD 35,753 (FP-8- Final step to be Determined by Washington)

The Embassy of the United States of America in Kigali is recruiting for the position of Property Management Clerk.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Under the Warehouse Supervisor, the incumbent of this position maintains all property records, creates and transmits all property management reports, performs all inventories and maintains documents for all Embassy properties, office and residential.

QUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item
- 1. Completion of secondary school is required.
- 2. Two years experience of property or warehouse management is required.
- 3. Level III English is required; level III French is also required.
- 4. A general knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of Department of State property management regulations, documentations and record keeping practices is required.
- 5. Basic typing ability is required.
SELECTION PROCESS
When equally qualified, US Citizen Eligible Family Members (AEFMs) and U.S. Veterans will be given preference. Therefore, it is essential that in the application the candidate fully address the required qualifications above.
ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest, budget, and residency status in determining successful candidacy.
2. Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply.
3. Currently employed US Citizens EFMs who hold a FMA appointment are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment.
4. Currently employed NORs hired under a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the 90 calendar days of their employment, unless currently hired into a position with a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.
