Diarrheal disease is now the biggest killer of children in Africa. 2.6 billion people globally do not have access to a safe place to go to the toilet; and almost 900 million people do not have access to the most basic of human needs – safe drinking water. Can you help WaterAid change this?
WASH sectors that are linked to core government systems perform better in than those where planning is piecemeal and disjointed. Can you help WaterAid apply the aid effectiveness principles to the delivery of sustainable WASH services?
We need your skills and help in supporting the Sanitation and Water for All partnership to address the global challenges that make sanitation and water one of the most poorly performing sectors. You will also work to ensure that the aid and development effectiveness agendas are delivered at a national level.
You will be a keen and experienced graduate, with proven and grounded knowledge of global and national debates on international development, aid effectiveness and development economics.
