Job Ref No: 5311100 Job Title: Developer/Analyst Post(s): 1 Report To: Senior Developer/Analyst Closing Date: Friday, May 27, 2016 (16:30) Objectives: The incumbent seeks to identify requirements for automation and implement application systems that serves the business needs of TTCL and its customers by providing systems analysis expertise, systems development and the recommendation of systems specification where third party applications are to be acquired.
1. Collect information from TTCL Functional units to analyze and evaluate existing and proposed systems 2. Designing and writing code for features for current and/or new product offerings. 3. Evaluating customer and TTCL internal business process and suggest required automation to improve company and customer productivity. 4. Development of the software to implement solutions meeting the requirements of projects and changes. 5. Deliver software with a competitive time to market, meeting functionality and business continuity requirements for Mobile, Fixed and VAS services. 6. Responsible for performing design and coding activities with a high level of quality and according to best practices and corporate standards. 7. Participate in the research, planning, development/ acquisition, configuration and implementation of application systems, troubleshooting and maintenance of application systems. 8. Prepare, and keep current, flowcharts that outline systems processes. 9. Responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of internal business processes. 10. Accountable to provide 3rd line incident and problem analysis and resolution within agreed KPIs to assure business continuity of production systems. 11. Responsible for diagnosing and debugging code to identify and fix defects. 12. Document program development, logic, coding, and corrections and writing manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures. 13. Providing technical assistance and trainings to users on use of applications. 14. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. 15. Any other duties as may be assigned by respective controlling officer.
