POST: Area Livestock Coordinator (ALC):
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure effective implementation of the livestock program in the concerned area and have to make results as per project plan.
• Implement an effective monitoring and evaluation tools and analyze with project participants.
• Liaising and interacting with concerned NGO’s, and Professional bodies as per need of the program implementation
• Ensure the supply of inputs and linking with government, private sector and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and training to the Program Organizer (Livestock) and poultry farmers.
Follow up and supervise program activities.
• Preparation of different reports, like activity reports, progress reports, evaluation reports and accounts statements with different time line when required.
• Perform any other duties as per assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) or Bachelors of Animal science
• At least one year field experience especially in Market linkage & strong community based on supply chain development in poultry sector is preferable.
• Computer Skills including demonstrated hands on experience with Ms word, Excel, etc
• Must be good in report writing in English
• Good interpersonal and Communication skills.
• Ability to multi task and effectively handle stressful situations.
• Demonstrated experience in community mobilization and training.
