POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Sales and Marketing Manager

The chief sales and marketing officer of Bulwark Security Ltd heads this department. The title of the officer is Sales and Marketing Manager who is responsible for overseeing marketing and sales administration activities of the Company. The departmental head is responsible for day-to-day sales and marketing administration of the company.

(a) Answerable:

The Sales and Marketing Manager is functionally answerable to the General Manager

(b)   Roles and Responsibilities

·         Preparation of department plans and budgets;

·         Overseeing implementation of the sales activities of the company

·         Overseeing implementation of the marketing activities

·         Overseeing customer care activities of the company

·         Preparation of marketing programmes

·         Responsible for enhancing company awareness

·         Responsible for enhancing products and service awareness

·         Overseeing staff discipline in general in the department

·         Ensuring that the working environment in the department is conducive for enhancing productivity of subordinate staff

·         Passing of information to Section Heads and subordinate staff in general

·         Responsible for establishing and maintaining clear lines of responsibility within the department for all managerial and administrative matters.

(c)   Reports

·         Daily sales and collection reports

·         Weekly sales, marketing and collection reports

·         Monthly and quarterly sales and marketing reports

·         Departmental monthly customer service report

(d)   Structure of the department

The marketing department comprises three distinct sections, namely, Customer Care, Sales and Marketing.
