POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Cooperative Audit and Supervision Corporation (COASCO) is a public organization which was established under the parliament Act No. 15 of 1982. The main objective of establishing the Corporation is to provide Auditing and supervision service to cooperative societies in Tanzania Mainland until 2005 when the law was amended to allow COASCO to provide Auditing and Consultancy services to iQclude Non Cooperative entities. COASCO has 15 regional offices in Arusha, Mara, Kaqera, Mwanza, Mbeya, Iringa, Dar es Salaam, Mtwara, Ruvuma, Kilimanjaro, Tabora. Shinyanga, Morogoro, Dodoma and Tanga with Headquarter in Dodoma.
COASCO invites applications from suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies.
Senior Auditor Grade II (2 Vacancies)
i) Qualification and Experience
Must be registered by the NBAA as ACPA-PP or FCPA-PP
At least three years working experience in conducting external audits of different clients including Cooperatives.
Experience in leading audit teams and writing of audit reports
ii) Duties and Responsibilities
Lead audit teams in the fields
S\lpervising audit planning and guiding audit teams throughout the audits process Provide supervisory and advisory services to clients
Manage and supervise audit functions
Periorm any other duties as directed by the employer
iii) Remuneration
According to COASCO salary scales (l.e. COASS 9), other fringe benefits will be given to the right candidates in accordance with the existing policies of the Corporation.
iv) Age Limit: Not above 45 years
