Mbeya University of Science and Technology invites applications from suitably: and competent persons to fill various vacancies that exist in the Academic and Non Academic departments of the University.

Instructor I
(1 Post in Electrical/Electronic Engineering)
4.1 QUALIFICATION
Holder of Bachelor Degree (NTA Level 8) Or equivalent in relevant field who is eligible for registration as a technical teacher with a working experience in teaching at least three years of relevant practical experience.
4.2 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaches up to NTA level 6 and may assist teaching in higher NTA levels;
• Conducts examinations for NTA level 7 students;
• Conducts and supports research and consultancy works
• Prepares learning resources;
• Supervises field training;
• -Supervises and assists junior staff; and
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

PTSS 10 -11

GENERAL CONDITIONS

I. All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania and not above 45 years of age.

v. Form IV and Form VI results slips are strictly not accepted
vi. Testimonials, Partial transcripts and results slips will not be accepted.
vii. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate legal action.
viii. Applicants who are currently employed in the Public Service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
ix. Applicants who have/Were retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply.
x.Applicants should indicate three (3) reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
xi. Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
